In Call of Duty: Warzone 2, the current top dog in the submachine gun class is the Fennec 45.
This SMG is a terrifying presence on the map, especially at close range, thanks to its extremely high rate of fire, low recoil, and solid damage. However, the Fennec 45 isn’t for everyone, and those are looking to defect from the Season 1 meta can easily look elsewhere in the SMG category. Players can start with the Vaznev-9K, which is one of the better submachine guns in Warzone 2 — especially with its best loadout equipped.
The Vaznev-9K is currently one of, if not the best, SMGs in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. It’s the meta choice for professional players in competitive play, featuring little recoil and great damage range. However, it doesn’t quite have the Fennec 45’s fire rate, which has kept some players from using it consistently in Warzone 2. While we can’t increase the Vaznev’s fire rate, we can boost other stats with some key attachments.
Best Vaznev-9K loadout in Warzone 2
Given how mobile the Vaznev-9K already is by default, we’ve gone with a more recoil-oriented loadout. This will make both close and mid-range gunfights a viable option with this SMG if players happen to not have an AR or LMG handy.
- Muzzle: Lacerta Compensator
- Barrel: SA Response III Barrel
- Optic: Cronen Mini Pro/Slimline Pro/SZ Mini
- Magazine: 45 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip
Aside from the optic and the magazine, every attachment on this loadout is focused on recoil in some way. The Lacerta Compensator increases it both horizontally and vertically while the SA Response III Barrel helps as well while also boosting damage range. As for the optic, we’ve listed multiple options depending on what players have unlocked. Finally, the 45 Round magazine gives players enough bullets to last in a multi-enemy gunfight without having to reload.
